Patients often discover the benefits of Upper Cervical Chiropractic, after they have exhausted all traditional medical routes.  Unfortunately, many of these routes may not offer answers or help with what you are going through.  Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic may provide new insight as to what is going on inside your body.

The top two bones of the spine are referred to as C1 & C2 respectively.  This is known as the upper cervical spine.  After accidents, repetitive strain, or even birth trauma, these bones can be 'pushed' out of alignment.  If this occurs, tension can be applied to the entire nerve system.

The potential effects may be localized, such as headaches, neck pain or numbness into the arm for example.  Since C1 & C2 sit right at the top of the spine, a misalignment can also affect brain-body communication and create body wide symptoms, such as dizziness or vertigo.

Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic Care focuses on correcting misalignments with the utmost specificity, to restore proper communication between the brain and the body.
